Lately, there has Been Plenty of Bad Behavior in Cybersecurity

Redport Information Assurance
The cybersecurity research experts at Forcepoint have been conducting trending analysis on the number of breaches and cyber incidents which now have been occurring on a daily basis. It has been reported that data breaches had increased by 40% from 2015 to present. Unfortunately, the billions of dollars which has been thrown towards cybersecurity has produced nothing to the point of having little effect on the growing cybersecurity attacks. Therefore, security researchers at Redport Information Assurance, LLC agrees with Forcepoint’s approach towards researching for a new strategy. Security researchers at Forcepoint have determined there has been a lack of focus on concentrating on how company personnel interact with critical data and information technology protocols on a large organization’s enterprise infrastructure. The new strategy and approach to cybersecurity should start focusing on personnel intent and other determining human behavior factors. Forcepoint has deemed there are three types of these behaviors which could impact an organization’s enterprise system, such as users being accidental, compromised or being malicious insiders. The visibility and context behind users’ actions need to be detected early and reported upfront so that organizations can organize and deploy their human resources and security operation’s incident response teams a lot faster. Redport Information Assurance, LLC believes that with further due diligence and escalated cybersecurity awareness training, a majority of these breaches and cyber incidents can be eliminated or at least greatly reduced.
