It was recently announced that Team Redport Information Assurance, LLC in cooperation with their prime contractor Universal Consulting Services (UCS) has won a major portion of U.S. Army’s Hybrid (Cost, firm, fixed-priced, time and materials) contract for Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-3 services, which is also known as the ITES-3S IDIQ contract. Redport IA, LLC’s CEO Mr. Steve Reinkemeyer stated, “This will bring numerous future opportunities to Redport IA, LLC.” The U.S. Army in total made 135 contract awards on the potentially combined nine-year contract. The contract has five base years and four individual option years according to The Pentagon. The new awards were broken out into 52 for ITES-3S unrestricted contractors and 83 were reserved for small business set-asides. There were also additional unrestricted portion for small business winners. It was stated by Washington Technology, an online news blog that the ITES services project scope will include all areas of The U.S. Army’s enterprise system such as cybersecurity, integration, consolidation, telecommunications, supply-chain management, operation and maintenance, business process engineering, and education and training.
