DHS and The State Commission on Cybersecurity (SCC) have both been working on four prominent parameters to keep citizens safe while using and surfing the internet. Those four items are creating a strong password for your on-line accounts, regularly checking your different on-line accounts, especially any financial accounts you are maintaining just to make sure there isn’t any fraudulent activity taking place without your knowledge, Using caution with your provided personal information and identification data when signing up for new accounts and vendor services and last but not least backing up your data so that they are easily accessible in case you are hit with any type of ransomware.
